About the Author
Greetings from Wisconsin!
I was raised in a Christian family, the last of eleven kids. Some people just have kids until they get it right, or until they are too scared to keep going. 🙂 We were at the Anderson church of Christ, where my late father was an elder for many years. I pursued a Navy career, retiring in 2003. Along the way, I have been around the denominational block. I have a bachelors degree with a Religion major from a Southern Baptist university, have led worship in an Assembly of God church, and have finally come home to do the things I did at first in a wonderful congregation at the Appleton church of Christ.
My articles are not designed to be dogma, they are designed to make you think and to spur further Bible study and discussion. If that happens, my mission is complete!

Wow, what a coincidence! I am from WI too. My husband’s military career finally landed me in Clarksville, Tn 12 years ago and I guess I’ll stay put for now. I was never much of a fan of the snow shovel! I was just home in July for a family reunion, my parents live in Oneida. Some of my relatives actually flew into the Appleton airport. Great blog! No wonder I liked it though, your “Wisconsinness” must have spoke to my heart! God bless you!
